Thank you Kristina, as a fellow non native English speaker I am grateful you wrote this article. I got denied from a publication two times because my article was not perfect. I have not submitted anything there since. Some publications state that they only take high quality articles and no mistakes. I try my best but can not guarantee perfection. I run through Grammarly and check the best I can. Not being perfect in English is a part of me. I grew up in another country.
