Let me tell you how much money I made on Medium

I have read many articles about how much money people are making on the Medium platform. Some things are still unclear to me. I have read that the money is divided based on if somebody is a Medium member who is reading your article. I have had articles that were read by Medium members many times by multiple members and yet the article did not receive any money or received one cent for example for five reads. I’m not sure how’s that possible. If five people on Medium read my story to receive one cent. I guess one cent is more than nocent.

I started seriously writing on Medium close to two months now. I have been a medium member for about a year. In the beginning, I was just writing a few articles a month. I was not fully sure how the platform work and what you need as far as engagement. I was reading a few articles from some people making some comments and claps and was excited when I heard back from somebody.
