I feel the same way. I like the dimmer more intimate lighting or candlelight.

…for me, no matter the quality of the food, if a restaurant has a sterile, brightly lit environment. I far prefer a warm, dimly lit place. It creates an ambiance that makes me want to stay, open up, and have long conversations. Lighting is essential for setting the tone and mood.
