How you make sites without using a domain?

I don’t know coding, I cheat by using pre-made templates, some of the sites I make have no content at all, yet they sell for hundreds of dollars as starter sites.
I build boring websites (for $200/hour?)

How you make sites without using a domain? I see now you pre buy a site with Site ground. I have not heard of them before. Interesting idea.
